National Diversity Council

Our National Diversity Council helps attract, retain and develop top talent who offer diverse, distinctive thoughts, experiences and points of view.  We work with and support advocacy groups and industry organizations dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion, and we partner with colleges and universities. Internally, we spotlight client programs that support diversity, host a quarterly speaker series in which local speakers are invited to share challenges and opportunities related to diversity, and celebrate the various national history and heritage months throughout the course of the year with educational and creative programs.

TORCH

We believe it’s never too soon for a young person to think about his or her future. As a sponsor of TORCH (Together Our Resources Can Help), we support the organization’s efforts to offer underserved New York City public high school students exposure to career training and opportunities in communications and the arts. We provide real-world PR training through a five-week PR 101 class on site at Porter Novelli. Students practice hands-on public relations activities to drive buzz about TORCH, create mentoring relationships and develop communications skills to help them build their own “personal brand.”
