Porter Novelli

Porter Novelli announces two talent shifts designed to strengthen its North American team: the appointment of Erin Osher as managing director, Seattle, and Colleen Connors as senior vice president, North America talent leader.

Osher has been with Porter Novelli for more than 11 years. Based in New York, she grew from account coordinator to executive vice president and, most recently, interim managing director. As managing director of the Seattle office, Osher will build on the growth and success of the local team and help provide even greater value to Porter Novelli clients across the network.

“I am thrilled about my new role,” said Osher. “Building on the strong foundation my career in New York provided, I am excited to grow our dynamic Seattle office in such a key market.”

Connors joined Porter Novelli two years ago, supporting talent engagement initiatives in Washington, D.C. and Canada. In her new role, Connors will oversee the talent function for all North America offices. In addition, she will play a key role on global strategic initiatives to advance employee engagement, learning and development and culture.

“It is an exciting time at Porter Novelli and I’m eager to take on this expanded role,” said Connors. “I look forward to working with the North American leadership team, talent team and all my colleagues to enhance our strong culture and ensure Porter Novelli continues to be a great place to work.”

Connors brings a broad background to the global talent team. She began her career as an agency PR practitioner before moving into leadership roles including serving as chief operations officer for the not-for-profit Save Darfur Coalition.

“Colleen’s broad business and operational experience brings a pragmatic perspective to the HR and talent functions,” said Mindy Gikas, executive vice president and global talent leader. “Her strong leadership and organizational skills will propel us forward as a talent-focused organization.”

“Erin and Colleen’s new responsibilities will help us capitalize on their deep knowledge and relationships within our agency, while also allowing both a greater ability to tap into their individual leadership strengths,” said Jennifer Swint, president, North America. “These are two extraordinary leaders, and these new roles will significantly strengthen our talent engagement and client service excellence across the agency.”
