Zuckerberg: Facebook Is Close To Testing An Other-Than-Like Button

PNConnect Insight – While Facebook’s CEO still insists that he doesn’t like the idea of a “down vote” button, and that this new feature would only be designed to express empathy (e.g., no one wants to “like” a post about a friend’s pet dying), the Facebook community continues to press for a “dislike” button or something similar to allow users to express unhappiness or disapproval of posts. Now that Facebook is making a slight concession, it may not be long before we see disapproval buttons. Such a feature would certainly provide brands more direct feedback about their content, but could also make direct interactions more uncomfortable. Read more about this on the PNConnect blog.
