Global communications leader Porter Novelli announced today it won two awards at the first annual “PR DailyAwards presented by Ragan and Dow Jones.” The awards were announced at luncheon at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. PRDaily.com is the No. 1 international online news site in the industry.
Porter Novelli won in the following categories:
- Best PR White Paper, for Census: It’s All in the Numbers, a thought leadership piece on the economic potential of the Hispanic demographic
- Best Infographic, which accompanied “Census: It’s all in the Numbers” and illustrated the economic potential of the Hispanic demographic
“Both the white paper and the infographic on the 2010 Census numbers were developed to shed light on the vast opportunity for businesses with the Hispanic market,” said Michael Ramah, acting CEO, Porter Novelli. “We know this demographic – already in excess of 50 million and three-quarters of which fall into the highly prized 18 to 49 year old segment – is ripe for building beneficial and long-term relationships with brands. Establishing the right engagement among Hispanics will yield business results even greater than many brands can anticipate,” Ramah continued.
Porter Novelli also earned an honorable mention in the awards in the research category on behalf of work with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
