Global public relations leader Porter Novelli (PN) today unveiled significant enhancements to “Porter Novelli Radar,” its reputation management and issues tracking service. In addition to delivering in-depth analysis of print, broadcast and social media, PN Radar now includes web-based reporting, legal and regulatory tracking and social media geo-tagging capabilities.
Over the last three years, PN Radar has provided issues monitoring services for more than 50 high-profile clients, supporting 200 separate crises and creating nearly 3,500 reports. PN Radar’s command centers are housed in the agency’s Atlanta, London and Brussels offices, connecting with Porter Novelli offices from Asia to Latin America. With the upgrade of PN Radar, reports can now be delivered in Spanish to address Hispanic markets.
“We understand that in today’s rapidly changing, consumer-driven media environment, a real-time system that provides information to help predict the trajectory of an issue is critical,” said Porter Novelli CEO Karen van Bergen. “PN Radar is operated by a dedicated staff and managed by reputation management experts to deliver immediate and strategically grounded responses to any adverse event.”
PN Radar reports can be delivered via password-protected online documents with links to pertinent articles, videos and other information. For active issues and crisis management, PN Radar’s control center offers two-way video communications for real-time collaboration.
“PN Radar helps our clients understand what is happening now to appropriately prepare them for any potential reputational challenges,” said Brad MacAfee, president, North America, Porter Novelli. “The enhancements we have introduced will help ensure that clients have their finger firmly on the pulse of any issue or crisis that arises.”
