Today, most Americans don’t know where their food comes from, even when it comes to honey. With the National Honey Board, our team set out to educate consumers on how honey is made while helping the National Honey Board develop its own voice on matters of bee health.
We produced a virtual reality video experience called “Be the Bee: A Hive-to-Table Experience.” The video debuted during National Honey Month at an influencer event in New York. Along with this premier, the National Honey Board also announced a commitment to fund $10 million in research with the pre-eminent bee health research organization in the US, Project Apis m.
Following our virtual reality experience, we saw 99% of placements highlighting our messaging; 1.5K shares from earned media coverage and more than 180 million impressions across earned and social channels.
