National Honey Board

Intention and Action.

Today, most Americans don’t know where their food comes from—and that includes their honey. In partnership with the National Honey Board, Porter Novelli set out to educate consumers on where and how honey is made, while promoting the National Honey Board as an expert voice on bee health.

We produced a virtual reality video experience called, “Be the Bee: A Hive-to-Table Experience.” We debuted the video during National Honey Month at a well-attended influencer event in New York. In tandem with this premier, the National Honey Board announced its commitment to fund $10 million in research with the pre-eminent bee health research organization in the U.S., Project Apis m.

Impact.

In the wake of this multi-part campaign, we saw 99% of placements highlighting our messaging, 1.5K shares from earned media coverage and more than 180 million impressions across earned and social channels.
